Polish young athletes ready to perform!
On February 10th Polish Representatives taking part in EYOF in Erzurum received the nominations during the official ceremony which was held at the Olympic Centre, at the Polish Olympic Committee’ headquarters.
Nineteen athletes representing the following sports: biathlon, curling, figure skating and short track together with their coaches, doctors, physiotherapists (in total 32 people)were welcomed by the POC President, Mr. Andrzej Kraśnicki who addressed very warm words to all the gathered participants and guests.
Also Mrs. Urszula Włodarczyk representing the Ministry of Sport and Tourism and former three times Olympian in heptathlon – took a floor and wished especially many success in the competition. As she pointed out it is very important factor in sport because in her Olympic career twice she gained 4th place.
We were more than honoured to share that special moment that is handing the official nomination to each representative with His Excellency Ambassador of the Republic of Turkey – Mr. Tunc Ugdul.
According to the Olympic ceremonial one athlete (Ms. Daria Chmarra, curling) and one coach (Mr. Łukasz Fabjański, short track) delivered the Olympic oath.
