The workshop, which was held in partnership with the Department of Sports and Recreation of South Africa and the Ministry of Youth, Sport, Arts and Recreation of Zimbabwe, focused on anti-doping awareness in sport. Representatives of the Athletes’ Commissions discussed several key topics, including the impact that doping has on the mental health of clean athletes when preparing to compete at events, as well as implementing innovative approaches to prevent doping in sport.
