Vietnam win first ever Olympic gold medal

Vietnam today won their first ever Olympic gold medal as Hoang Xuan Vinh claimed the top honours in the men’s 10m air pistol.

Not only did he secure his country’s first ever Olympic gold, but Hoang also set an Olympic record in the process with a total of 202.5 points.
