Uruguayan Olympic Committee Athletes’ Commission organises first forum for youth athletes

For the first time the Uruguayan Olympic Committee Athletes’ Commission organized a forum for youth athletes.

A total of 48 athletes from 19 different disciplines participated in the event in which topics of great importance such as nutrition, sports supplementation and abuse in sport were discussed.

Tokyo 2020 Olympic athletes Felipe Klüver and Maria Pia Fernandez joined the forum to talk about their experiences and sporting career among the world’s elite.

The I National Forum of Youth Athletes was held at the headquarters of the Uruguayan Olympic Committee in the Montevideo department.
