Tunisian Olympic Committee delegates visit Paris as part of the “Terre des Jeux” programme

Members of the Tunisian Olympic Committee (CNOT) held meetings with the Organising Committee of the Olympic Games Paris 2024 (OCOG) to discuss accommodation for athletes, pre Games training camps and accreditation at the OCOG headquarters in Paris, France.

The visit was part of the “Terre des Jeux” program, which aims to bring people from various backgrounds together, encourage people to get involved in sport and solidify ties between communities and the sports movement.

The CNOT delegation was greeted by the Mayor of Meudon, Denis Larghero, who emphasised the desire of his city to welcome elite Tunisian athletes and contribute to their success at the Olympic Games by involving the strong Tunisian population residing in the area.

The agenda for the visit also included talks centred around ticketing and hospitality for delegates, while the OCOG explained how logistics for the Games would operate. CNOT representatives were impressed with the ideas presented to them as planning and preparation for the Games begins to intensify.

The CNOT delegation visited the state-of-the-art sports facilities in the South-West Paris area to witness the development of infrastructure ahead of the Games in just under two-years’ time.
