Slovak Olympic and Sports Committee looks to end summer with movement

The Slovak Olympic and Sports Committee is ending the summer with movement as the Športuj Slovensko will come to Bratislava for a final stop.

The square near the Eurovea shopping center will turn into a mega-playground with more than ten sports that will be part of the Olympic Sports Village. The big attraction will be not only the climbing wall or the boxing ring, but also the canoe trainer, basketball, table tennis, teqball, athletic disciplines, gymnastics, badminton, golf, MMA, cheerleading, dance disciplines and bouncy castles.

Športuj Slovensko is organised by the Slovak Olympic and Sports Committee together with the general partner of the event BILLA Slovensko and is free for all to register and attend.

Športuj Slovensko involves participation in sport and attracts Slovak Olympians. It has already made three stops in other parts of Slovakia in recent months with more than 10,000 sports fans attending the events in Prešov, in the High Tatras and in the Donovaly Mountains.

During thestops, many leading Slovak athletes spread the ideas of Olympism. There were Olympic medalists Anastasia Kuzminová, Jakub Grigar, Rory Sabbatini, Danka Barteková, former great soccer player Róbert Vittek, captain of the ice hockey team Marek Hrivík, fans of winter sports Adam and Andreas Žampovci, Klaudia Medlová and many others.
