Polish Olympic Committee to hold third edition of the Personal Development of Olympians project

The Polish Olympic Committee is organising the third edition of the Personal Development of Olympians project. The aim of the project is to help athletes find a balance between their professional and personal life, reduce the emotional costs associated with the end of their professional careers and learn practical skills related to apply after the end of their sports career.

The project is aimed at Olympians who are starting to think about ending their sports career, or who ended it up to two years ago. Members of the POC Competition Commission are always welcome. The three-day workshop will be preceded by the Success Insights Test, i.e. personality potential testing.

Based on this research, the workshops will be guided by the participants’ needs. After the workshops, the tutors will support the effects of the program through individual contact with participants. The project is designed to help Olympians find themselves in life after their sports career. It will be the same programme that took place in December 2021 and April 2022, so we are addressing this proposal to people who could not participate then.

The workshops will be conducted by Mariusz Bonk, author of training and consulting projects in the field of: presentation skills, influencing, sales, negotiation, coaching, employee evaluation, people management, motivating, customer service, communication (at various levels of advancement), stress management and training for trainers.

Stationary workshops will be held on November 16-18, 2022 at the Olympic Center. The Polish Olympic Committee will cover the costs of workshops, travel, accommodation and meals. Due to the limited number of places (15 people), POC reserves the right to select participants.
