National Olympic Committee of Iraq holds sixth administrative and financial course

The National Olympic Committee of Iraq held the sixth administrative and financial development session in Sulaimaniyah city in Iraqi Kurdistan.

The Secretary General of the Olympic Committee, Mr. Haitham Abdel-Hamid, announced that the course, which started on 9 February, will last for three days and will conclude next Saturday, with the participation of a number of employees of sporting unions and government institutions, as well as a number of Olympic Committee.

Abdel-Hamid stated that the course will be attended by specialized professors and academics, with experience, in administrative and financial affairs in Iraqi and international sporting institutions.

The Olympic Committee held six similar courses during the previous year, systematically completing what participants received in previous development courses.

The opening of the session today was attended by members of the Executive Office of the Olympic Committee, Dr. Hardah Raouf, Mr. Basm Ahmed, Dr. Bidaa Gilan, and the Financial Secretary of the Iraqi National Olympic Committee, Mr. Ahmed Sabry, as well as present at its beginning, Dr. Hadi Abdullah, Director of the Iraqi Olympic Academy.
