JORDAN OLYMPIC COMMITTEE HOLDS OLYMPIC VALUES WORKSHOP
The Jordan Olympic Committee’s mission to spread the Spirit of Olympism throughout the country has continued with a workshop on Olympic Values held for the Haqiq Initiative last Friday and Saturday.
The Haqiq Initiative is one of the Crown Prince Foundation’s projects and its members were introduced to the workings of the Olympic Movement and the role it plays in promoting its five values of friendship, balance, ambition, excellence and respect.
The workshop included an overview of the Olympic Games and the most prominent events organised by the IOC. The JOC’s Olympic Values Education Programme aims to encourage more people to embrace the power of sport and to make it an important part of their daily lives.
