Habu Gumel re-elected as President of the Nigeria Olympic Committee

Habu Gumel was re-elected as President of the Nigeria Olympic Committee for a fifth term on Thursday 15 December.

Gumel, who serves as an ANOC Executive Council member overcame Sani Ndanusa in the election in Jalingo, Taraba State.

Gumel was first elected President of the Nigeria Olympic Committee in 2001 and served two consecutive terms until 2010. He was elected President again in 2014 and has served as President since.
