Chinese Taipei Olympic Committee: Olympic Academy Session to focus on ‘Olympic Diplomacy and Peace’

The main topic of the 42nd Session of the Chinese Taipei Olympic Academy will be “Olympic Diplomacy and Peace”, the Chinese Taipei Olympic Committee has announced.

The Chinese Taipei Olympic Committee and Chinese Taipei Olympic Academy will be organising the 42nd Session from 29th August to 1st September at the Chinshan Youth Activity Centre in New Taipei City.

The Chinese Taipei Olympic Committee invites select NOCs/National Olympic Academies to send two delegates – one female and one male – aged from 20 to 35 to the Session.

The theme “Olympic Diplomacy and Peace” echoes the topic of the International Olympic Academy 2019 Session.

The keynote speakers will address the following six topics:

*The Olympic Movement for 2020 and Beyond

*Olympic Diplomacy and Peace

*Olympic Diplomacy: How can Olympic sports play a positive role in international diplomacy?

*Olympic Values

*Olympic Movement and Environment

*The Role of the Olympic Games in Social Peace.
