Best athlete of the year 2022 awards by NOC Mongolia

The Mongolian NOC celebrated the “Burte Chono 2022” awards ceremony with the participation of the Olympic medallists, journalists, delegates of National Sports Federations, and Olympic Councils as well.

The ceremony was held at the historical newly opened Chinggis Khaan museum and more than 200 candidates and delegates of the National Sports Federation & Olympic Councils, distinguished guests took part.

Mr. Battushig Batbold, President of the NOC and the IOC Member officially opened the awards ceremony and highlighted the best success of the sports field in Mongolia.

The winners of the Awards were selected by the Mongolian sports press union, the Working group of the MNOC and the Top athlete of the year “Burte Chono” awards went to judoka Tsend-Ochir Tsogtbaatar, world champion in Tashkent at -73kg. Meanwhile, 5 more athletes are named best athlete of the year, and Mr. Enkhiin-Od Sharavjamts, the first Mongolian player of Dayton Flyers in Division I of the NCAA men’s basketball announced the best Young athlete of the year.
