Athlete 365 Career+ Seminar Brings Together Kazakhstan’s Olympians in Astana
The specialized courses were held at Nazarbayev University. Around 50 athletes from Kazakhstan, representing various sports, took part in the event. Among the participants were Olympic champions Dmitriy Balandin and Olga Rypakova, Olympic bronze medallist Elmira Syzdykova, World Cup medallist Zhanbota Aldabergenova, former Kazakhstan national football team player Yeldos Akhmetov, and other well-known Olympians.
The seminar consisted of two modules covering different topics aimed at helping athletes effectively plan their post-sports careers.
The speakers included IOC representatives and former Olympians: Zsófia Csonka (Hungary), who competed in shooting at the Athens 2004, Beijing 2008, and London 2012 Olympics, and Simona Castro (Chile), a gymnast at the London 2012, Rio 2016, and Tokyo 2020 Olympics.
The primary goal of the program is to equip participants with the necessary employment skills, enabling them to better prepare for life after sports and explore personal development opportunities.
During the seminar, prominent athletes from Kazakhstan shared their personal experiences with the participants.
