Ufuk Yılmaz awarded ANOC World Beach Games gold medal

Turkish beach wrestler, Ufuk Yılmaz, was awarded the ANOC World Beach Games gold medal in the beach wrestling men’s over-90kg on Tuesday during a special medal ceremony hosted by the Turkish Olympic Committee.

The ceremony was held to honour Yılmaz’s achievement and ensure he received the recognition he rightly deserves.

Yılmaz’s medal was upgraded to a gold following ANOC’s reallocation of the medals due to a positive doping case.

ANOC offers its sincere congratulations to Yılmaz on his gold medal.
