Spyros Capralos elected to represent NOCs on IOC Executive Board

ANOC Vice President and European Olympic Committees (EOC) President Spyros Capralos was today elected by the IOC Session to serve on the IOC Executive Board (EB) as the NOC representative.

Capralos replaces ANOC President Robin Mitchell as the NOC representative after President Mitchell served the maximum duration of his term.

Capralos said: “I am deeply honoured for your trust and support. I extend sincere thanks to Robin Michell who has been a mentor for me in this NOC relations and what we do. I would like to thank him very much for what he has done and contributed to the Olympic Movement. With the new President, I am committed to give my best for the Olympic Movement and to work very closely and to support everything the IOC is doing.”
