4th Azerbaijan Digital Communication and Social Media Seminar concludes following three days of discussion

The 4th Regional Digital Communication and Social Media Seminar has concluded following three days of insightful presentations and informative discussions in Baku, Azerbaijan.

Hosted by the Azerbaijan NOC in collaboration with ANOC, the IOC and EOC, the Seminar brought together NOCs from across Europa, Africa and Asia to reflect on Paris 2024 and look at the digital trends set to shape the Olympic Movement in the near future.
During the Seminar, Redtorch presented the comprehensive Paris 2024 ANOC social media report, while there was also time to reflect on the success of the NOC Photo Programme, the ANOC NOC Video Studio Project and the Digital Accelerator Programme. The NOCs who utilised the photo and video initiatives during the Olympic Games hailed the impact it had on their social media output.

NOCs were able to listen to presentations from experts, including on the increasingly relevant topic of AI, present their experiences from Paris and take part in workshops where they shared ideas on best practice for producing engaging content and embracing the next generation.

During the Seminar, ANOC confirmed that it will host five AI workshops for NOCs in 2025 and that there are plans for a second Digital Communications Seminar, following the successful inaugural Seminar in Prague in May.
