Beach Soccer Continental Qualifier for ANOC World Beach Games Bali 2023 set to get underway in Catania

On 29 August to 4 September some of Europe’s best Beach Soccer nations will battle it out to earn their NOC a qualification place at the ANOC World Beach Games Bali 2023.

The ANOC World Beach Games Qualifier Catania 2022 will see 13 teams compete across four groups with the top two teams in each group progressing through to the quarter finals.

The group stage will take place from 29 to 31 August before the quarter finals commence on 2 September. The semi-finals will follow on 3 September and the final on 4 September.

The 13 countries taking part are: Azerbaijan, Czech Republic, France, Germany, Italy, Moldova, Norway, Portugal, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Turkiye and Ukraine

As per the Qualification System for Beach Soccer, the top five teams will qualify places for Bali 2023.

A total of 16 men’s teams will compete at Bali 2023 with 14 qualifying via the Continental Qualification tournaments. Should a Continental Championship not been held between 1 July 2022 and 2 July 2023, then the quota place will be allocated to the highest ranked teams on the Beach Soccer World Ranking as of 1 July 2023 of that respective Continental Confederation, not yet qualified.
