ANOC World Beach Games Bali 2023 Launches Volunteer Programme
The ANOC World Beach Games Bali 2023 Organising Committee today officially opened registrations for its volunteer programme with hundreds of volunteers expected to be chosen to play a key role in the delivery of the flagship event.
The volunteers will have the opportunity to experience the event’s unique combination of elite sport and beach culture and will reflect the welcoming and friendly atmosphere of the Games.
Applications are open to college students based in Bali or those who are willing to stay in Bali at their cost. Applicants must be over 18 years old and be fluent in English; competency in other international languages will be welcomed. Bali 2023 is looking for volunteers who work well in a team, have a passion for sport, and are experienced working at sports events.
Chairman of the Local Organising Committee (LOC) of ANOC World Beach Games Bali 2023 Raja Sapta Oktohari said:
“We are very excited to officially open registrations for our Games volunteer programme. Volunteers will be vital to the success of Bali 2023 not only in helping to ensure the event runs smoothly but also in embodying the positive spirit and inclusive nature of the Games. Our volunteers will help contribute to an unforgettable atmosphere for all those visiting Bali.”
ANOC Secretary General Gunilla Lindberg added:
“The launch of the volunteer programme is an exciting milestone in the preparations for Bali 2023 as it brings us a step closer to assembling the team who will bring the Games to life in August. The ANOC World Beach Games is all about fun and enjoyment and the volunteers will be big part of this helping to create a positive atmosphere throughout the event.”
Volunteers will support the LOC across every area of event delivery from welcoming and guiding spectators to assisting and accompanying athletes and sports delegations.
