ANOC to host 1st Digital Communications Seminar for NOCs

The Association of National Olympic Committees (ANOC) today announced the first ANOC Digital Communications Seminar will be held in Prague, Czechia on 27-30 May 2024 as part of its ongoing commitment to delivering varied and valued services to NOCs.

The Seminar will build on the successful workshops and webinars held through the ANOC Digital Accelerator Programme and the three Seminars hosted for NOC Sports Directors.

Hosted in collaboration with the Czech Olympic Committee, the Digital Communications Seminar will provide NOC Communications Directors and Managers with a platform to engage in productive discussions, exchange knowledge and share ideas. During the two days of discussions, various digital communication topics relevant to the day-to-day operations of NOCs will be put forward for open breakout discussions.

ANOC Secretary General Gunilla Lindberg said:

“We are delighted to be hosting the first ever edition of the ANOC Digital Communications Seminar. We are always looking to find new ways to enhance the support we provide NOCs and facilitate exchange. With Paris 2024 approaching, NOCs have expressed interest in maximising the opportunities the Games presents to promote their athletes and engage their national audiences through effective digital communications.

“We are grateful to the Czech Olympic Committee for their support in organising this Seminar and have no doubt the Seminar will provide an excellent forum for NOCs to learn, share perspectives and develop their communications.”
