ANOC team in Paris to provide NOCs with dedicated Games-time support
ANOC, led by ANOC Secretary General Gunilla Lindberg, will have a dedicated team based in Paris for the duration of the Games providing NOCs with ongoing assistance as well as two projects under the ANOC Digital Accelerator Programme.
The main ANOC office will be located in the Hyatt Hotel OFH2 in Paris on the 1st floor in the ‘Tower 3’, room next to the IOC Olympic Solidarity Office. It will be open from 22 July to 11 August and be staffed from 09:00-18:00 as ANOC welcomes all NOCs and Olympic stakeholders to visit.
For the first time at an Olympic Games, ANOC will also deliver the NOC Video Studio Project Paris 2024. The project will support NOCs in improving their social media presence during the Games by offering studio space for NOCs to record videos with their athletes and providing fully produced videos, compliant with IOC rules.
More than 50 NOCs have signed up for the inaugural project and ANOC last week opened the online booking platform for NOCs to start securing their spots to use the studio from 19 July to 10 August 2024.
ANOC, in partnership with the IOC, will also once again deliver the NOC Photo Progamme Paris 2024, this time powered by Getty Images, the IOC Official Photo Agency. The programme builds on the success of the Gangwon 2024 edition and the programme delivered by ANOC at Beijing 2022.
The programme is being fully funded by ANOC and the IOC and provides NOCs with free access to the Getty Images Olympic database and professional images of their athletes for non-commercial purposes across their digital platforms. NOCs who qualified to take part in the programme and applied ahead of the deadline will receive further information on a call hosted by ANOC and the IOC.
In the countdown to Paris 2024, ANOC continues to promote NOCs’ Olympic histories through the #NOCGamesMemories campaign on Instagram. The campaign started with the Hellenic Olympic Committee on 26 January and runs through to 14 July – Bastille Day – with NOC of France, by which time ANOC will have individually promoted the achievements of 203 NOCs and the Refugee Olympic Team. ANOC is partnering with Content Stadium to create the engaging digital designs for each NOC Games memory and using Artificial Intelligence (AI) to develop the content.
After the Paris 2024, ANOC will upload all the historic insights from the campaign onto the ANOC website.
