ANOC Secretary General delivers presentation at Panam Sports General Assembly

ANOC Secretary General Gunilla Lindberg provided an update report on ANOC’s activities and initiatives to the Pan American National Olympic Committees (NOCs) during the Panam Sports General Assembly in Asuncion, Paraguay.

The General Assembly, which re-elected Neven Ilic as Panam Sports President, heard details from Secretary General Lindberg on recent ANOC programmes including the NOC Video Studio Project and NOC Photo Programme Paris 2024 implemented at this summer’s Olympic Games. Both initiatives were delivered as part of the ANOC Digital Accelerator Programme and provided NOCs with access to high quality videos and photography to enhance their social media performances during the Olympic Games.

Secretary General Lindberg also provided an update on preparations for the ANOC General Assembly Cascais 2024 which will take place on 30-31 October. The General Assembly will also feature the ANOC Awards 2024, which recognises the best NOCs and athletes from Paris 2024, and the ANOC Special Theme Sessions, which provide NOCs the opportunity to exchange knowledge and best practice.
