ANOC publishes Paris 2024 Social Media Handbook for NOCs

As part of the ANOC Digital Accelerator Programme, ANOC has published the Paris 2024 Social Media Handbook  designed to support NOCs maximise their social media performance in the build up to, during, and after the Olympic Games Paris 2024.

The handbook, which can be found here, provides NOCs with strategies and tactics to enhance social media impact, drawing on lessons learned from Tokyo 2020, the industry expertise of Redtorch, and data provided by the ANOC Social Media Dashboard.

In the build up to Paris 2024, the handbook gives NOCs the tools to build a strong foundation by developing a comprehensive content strategy, building an engaged community, leveraging existing platforms and partners, and optimising existing resources.

For during the Games, the handbook outlines how NOCs can create real-time content and effectively tell the stories of their incredible athletes. It provides tips on how NOCs can better engage their communities, how they can maximise impact with limited resources and how ongoing measurement allows them to adapt social media tactics.

Finally, the handbook explains how post-Paris 2024, NOCs can sustain and build momentum to ensure that their engagement and audience continues to grow long after the Olympic flame has been extinguished.

Industry learnings applicable to NOCs are also provided with case studies and key takeaways.
