ANOC hosts first Sustainability Workshop for NOCs
ANOC hosted the first Sustainability Workshop on 16 November as part of the rollout of ANOC’s partnership with The Toolbox, which aims to support NOCs create and implement their own sustainability programmes.
The Workshop was hosted by ANOC and The Toolbox and covered the content of steps 1 and 2 of the ANOC Sustainability Handbook which is available to all NOCs and can be found on the sustainability section of the ANOC website.
Nearly 100 participants from 70 NOCs attended the interactive workshop. The Toolbox presented the concepts of each of the first two steps of the handbook and then the webinar participants were sent into six different breakout groups for 15 minutes.
During the breakout groups, participants had the opportunity to familiarise themselves with the templates of the handbook and exchange their thoughts and perspectives. The groups were moderated by ANOC or The Toolbox staff to help facilitate discussions.
All participants will now work on continuing to complete the relevant templates as part of their takeaways from the webinar.
Feedback from the webinar was very positive and participants are looking forward to the next workshop on 6 December which will focus on steps 3 and 4 of the handbook.
