ANOC hosts 8th Digital Accelerator Webinar with Danish NOC showcase

ANOC today delivered the 8th Digital Accelerator Webinar which showcased the Danish NOC Games Operation Administration Tool (GOAT).

Mr. Nicklas Bjaaland, the NOC Olympic Project Manager, demonstrated how they have developed a solution for their Games preparation activities using existing Microsoft capabilities. The solution is based on automatization and data input and output, structuring the work of the NOC, saving time, resources and increasing effectiveness and competences.

The strong benefits of the solution are that it is self-customizable and flexible, based on Microsoft licenses that are already owned by most organizations. There is a one-off cost for the set-up and training, without any additional annual fees. So once the solution is applied and trained, additional costs are needed only if the NOC requests further automatizations.

70 NOC representatives took part in the webinar, and Mr. Bjaaland explained he would make himself available for further discussions with fellow NOCs in person during the Youth Olympic Games in Gangwon later in January.
