ANOC HOSTS 11TH EDITION OF ITS SOCIAL MEDIA WORKSHOP WITH “REDTORCH”

On 15th May, ANOC delivered its 11th Edition of ANOC Digital Accelerator Program Workshop with “Redtorch”, a global research, digital and creative agency with more than 50 participants from NOCs.

The topics presented were their partnership with ANOC and National Olympic Committees, the social media strategy for National Olympic Committees in preparation for Paris 2024, strategies for post-Olympic content, various tactics for community engagement, including interactive posts, user-generated content, campaign launches, and leveraging national culture to generate excitement.

In addition to those, they stressed the importance of educating athletes on social media guidelines, offering support, and initiating conversations to facilitate content creation. The team emphasized the significance of engaging partners on social media, stressing the need for clear branding and engaging content, and provided examples of successful strategies such as user-generated content and athlete involvement.

ANOC and Redtorch have been working together since 2020 to enable ANOC to deliver social media insights that support all 206 NOCs’ (National Olympic Committees’) global digital growth .

ANOC will soon launch a Paris 2024 Social media Handbook, based on the insights from the NOCs social media performance from Tokyo2020.
