ANOC conducts first site visit to Prague ahead of ANOC General Assembly

An ANOC delegation led by ANOC Secretary General Gunilla Lindberg today concluded its first site visit to Prague as the city begins its preparations to host the ANOC General Assembly later this year.

The ANOC delegation was welcomed to Prague by the Czech Olympic Committee in their historic headquarters before they were taken to visit the hotels and venues that will be used for the General Assembly and ANOC Awards. 

ANOC Secretary General Gunilla Lindberg said:

“The meetings we have had here in Prague have been very productive and we are confident that they will deliver a fantastic General Assembly and ANOC Awards later this year. The facilities are excellent and we have no doubt that the worlds NOCs will be made to feel at home in this beautiful city.”

Roman Kumpost, Vice President of the Czech Olympic Committee said: 

“We are excited to have the opportunity to host the ANOC General Assembly and ANOC Awards and to welcome representatives of all National Olympic Committees to Prague this autumn. We are very pleased with the meetings we have had with the ANOC delegation. Our team will put a great effort into preparing an unforgettable event.”
