ANOC Athletes’ Commission meets in Miami ahead of PASO Continental Athlete Forum

The ANOC Athletes’ Commission, led by Commission chair Barbara Kendall, met in Miami this week to discuss a number of initiatives to help ensure that athletes are kept at the heart of NOCs.

The meeting took place ahead of the first ever PASO Continental Athlete Forum from 23-25 May which was attended by 52 athletes from 39 of the 41 PASO countries. The purpose of the forum was to provide athletes with the tools needed to allow them to better serve their NOCs or Athletes’ Commissions in their countries.

The next ANOC Athletes’ Commission will take place ahead of the XXI ANOC General Assembly in Doha on 15-16 November 2016.
