10th Meeting of the Olympic Solidarity Offices hosted in ANOC Headquarters
The 10th meeting of the Olympic Solidarity Offices took place in the ANOC Headquarters on 27-28 September.
The meeting, which was attended by ANOC Secretary General Gunilla Lindberg, brought together the seven Olympic Solidarity offices.
On the first day there was a review of the 2017 recommendations and the closure of the 2013-2016 plan. There were updates on the Olympic Solidary mentoring programme and the Olympic Solidarity online platform. The afternoon saw a focus on good governance and financial management. There were sessions on the good governance self-evaluation tools, the financial control policy of all funds allocated by Olympic Solidarity/Continental Associations to NOCs, and the control of the use of fund by NOCs – including the schedule of the 2018-2020 controls and further assistance provided to NOCs.
On the second day, the 2017-2020 plan was reviewed both in terms of world programmes and the continental programmes. The meeting finished with conclusions and recommendations.
