Bhutan NOC organises programme for students affected by flash floods

The Bhutan Olympic Committee organised a programme for students of Dechencholing school in Thimphu who have been affected by the recent flash floods which caused wide devastation.

The BOC’s sports science team, in collaboration with the teachers of Dechencholing school, engaged the students in games and activities to promote physical fitness, mental well-being and to create a positive atmosphere.

The Thimphu school has been closed since a massive flash flood on August 10 left a trail of destruction in its wake.

The ongoing BOC programme, also known as Project Dechencholing, began last Friday and will resume next week.
