Contest “Expressing Olympic Values Through Art and Creativity” by NOC Mali

As part of its mission to promote the fundamental values of Olympism at a national level, the National Olympic and Sportive Committee of Mali (CNOSM) through the National Olympic Academy (ANOM) organised the contest “Expressions through Olympic Values” (edition 2023).
The competition, which took place from 13 to 23 November 2023 offered students from five ANOM partner schools the opportunity to express their creativity while embodying the Olympic values of respect, friendship and excellence.
Poetry, drawing and oratory art were the channels chosen to convey these Olympic values. The students displayed great ingenuity and remarkable talent, totally capturing the jury’s attention with their performances. At the end of the competition, “Le Progrès” school excelled in winning first place in poetry and oratory art, while “Base C” school won first place in drawing. “Mamadou TOGOLA” was also praised for its talent in poetry, ranking second.
The competition not only celebrated the Olympic spirit, but also highlighted the importance of education and creativity in developing young minds. It proved that Olympic values are a powerful and inexhaustible source of inspiration and expression for young people. In a determined commitment, the young participants fully lived out their passion.
