NOC SAN MARINO ON THE FRONT LINE TO COUNTER ALL FORMS OF VIOLENCE

On the occasion of the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women, the San Marino National Olympic Committee reiterates its firm condemnation of all forms of violence.

In renewing its commitment to fight against any discriminatory practice, form of abuse, harassment, gender-based violence or discrimination for reasons of ethnicity, religion, personal beliefs, disability, age or sexual orientation to safeguard the members of the San Marino sports movement, the CONS is drawing up a Safeguarding regulation.

This protocol, in accordance with the regulations dictated by the IOC, intends to regulate certain tools for the prevention and combating of all forms of abuse, guaranteeing the right to participate in the practice of sport in a safe and inclusive environment.

A campaign will be launched on the Olympic Committee’s social media profiles to counter all forms of violence.
