Lesotho NOC hosts Zambia NOC for exchange programme

The Lesotho National Olympic Committee (LNOC) welcomed a delegation representing the National Olympic Committee of Zambia made up of the President and Secretary General for an exchange programme.

The Zambian NOC visit to Lesotho marks the second exchange programme that the NOC conducted from 2022.The purpose of the exchange programme is to learn and exchange experiences from Lesotho NOC in how it conducts its constitutional mandate.

The LNOC President will lead a visit to AfriSki Resort, where the Zambian delegation will have a meeting with the resort management on possibilities of enagaging on Winter Games programme. This is not the first time the AfriSki is involved in the collaborative engagement regarding Winter Games Development programme. The Eswatini Olympic Committee also embarked on the Winter Games Programme with the Resort in 2022 where athletes are undertaken on going training for 2024 Korea Youth Winter Olympic Games. The delegation will leave the country on Friday, the 27th January 2023.
