Jordan Olympic Committee hosts safeguarding workshop

The Jordan Olympic Committee (JOC) hosted a safeguarding workshop which focused on the protection and safety of all athletes.

Organised by the JOC’s Education Department, the workshop highlighted the issues that could be faced by federations who sent representatives to attend along with members of various national teams, coaches and officials.

Topics were addressed by the Awareness Committee, with the goal to encourage a safe environment for athletes of both sexes and all ages to play sport.

A second session was held on the topic of “Preventing Competition Manipulation”, where the latest guidelines from the Olympic Movement were shared to ensure that a level and fair playing field is adhered to at all times in Jordan.
