ANOC publishes AirBadminton and Beach Sprint Rowing Qualification Systems for Bali 2023
The Qualification System for NOCs to compete in AirBadminton and Beach Sprint Rowing at the ANOC World Beach Games Bali 2023 have been published and can be found in full on the ANOC website.

AirBadminton will feature 72 athletes (36 men and 36 women) across four medal events: Men’s Triples, Women’s Triples, Mixed Doubles, and the Mixed Team Relay. The Mixed Team Relay and Mixed Doubles will feature athletes already qualified for the Men’s and Women’s Triples. Quota places for Men’s and Women’s Triples will be based on the official BWF World Team Rankings as of 2 January 2023. NOCs can also qualify athletes by way of the Five Continental Qualification Competitions that will be staged in early 2023.Host nation Indonesia is guaranteed one Men’s Triples and one Women’s Triples entry provided they pass the athlete eligibility criteria.
The qualification period ends on 12 June 2023.
Beach Sprint Rowing at Bali 2023 will feature 80 athletes (40 men and 40 women) across Men’s Solo (CM1x), Women’s Solo (CW1x) Mixed Double Sculls (CMix2x) and Relay (CRelay).
The six highest ranked boats at the 2022 World Rowing Beach Sprints Finals will earn one quota place for their NOC in the respective boat class (CM1x, CW1x and CMix2x) respecting the maximum quota allocation per NOC per event. The Finals will take place on 14-16 October 2022 at Saundersfoot, Great Britain. The two highest ranked boats per event in the five Continental Qualification regattas will earn one quota place for their NOC in the respective event. The African and Arab Beach Sprint Championships will take place in Tunisia on 21-23 October 2022 and the European Rowing Beach Sprint Championships will take place on 27-30 October 2022. The dates of the Asian, Americas and Oceania regattas will be confirmed in due course.
Host nation Indonesia will get one qualification place for each of the three events and there will be three invitation places per event.
For the Relay, NOCs who are represented in all three events will be eligible to race in the relay. Each Team will comprise a maximum of 4 athletes who will race in 3 boats (CM1x, Cmix2x and CW1x).
The qualificaiton period will end on 14 May 2023.
