ANOC Social Media Workshop 4 focused on social content creation

The ANOC Social Media Workshop 4 was today hosted by Joe Najib, an advertising and presentation expert from Malaysia, who provided NOCs with a masterclass on how to unleash the true potential of MS PowerPoint.

The workshop, which forms part of ANOC’s Digital Accelerator Programme, aimed to equip participating NOCs with all the skills and information they need to create compelling social media content, easily and professionally. ANOC decided to focus on this subject following feedback from NOCs on what would be most useful to help them improve their social media performance.

Najib has more than 18 years’ experience in advertising and branding and has worked with some of the world’s most renowned and award-winning multinational agencies and brands. More recently, he has worked as a PowerPoint specialist, helping organisations to maximise its potential.

During the workshop, Najib began by explaining the five key elements of design – line, shape, colour, size and space – before sharing practical tricks, tips and tools on how PowerPoint can be used effectively for eye-catching design.

More than 120 participants joined the workshop and also took part in practical exercises during the workshop.

The purpose of the workshop was to show that designing content can be done easily without the need for specialist design experience or expertise.

The full workshop will be uploaded to the ANOC YouTube channel.
